Review of Issue 3

ISSUE 3: Poor old Yoda nearly had a breakdown laying out Issue 2, bless him. Getting an issue together is extremely stressful, so Phixer, being a clever old sod, said “Phukit, I’ll phix it. I’ll have a go”, and he did, and has laid out every issue to date, despite having a demanding day job. So what have we got in here? Check out the cover. A lot of people have commented that this is the BEST magazine cover they have ever seen on ANY bike magazine (only we’re not a bike magazine). Mrs. Twang fires off her first feature (she normally does all the titles), “In my Shed”. The third part of the Atan interview continues. Check out the Thai Chops on this one! PantherShaun writes about a geezer who builds working cars out of wood, and there’s the feature on the cover bike, with excellent pictures taken in the Arizona desert. Shaun’s Panther’s in, with him looking tough as nails like his bike, there’s Jon’s 1953 Austin Devon pickup, and a feature on Steam Bikes. Tech tips include “How to make Girder Forks, “Roofchopping a Morris Minor”, and another part of Brad the Bastards welding course.

 I found this good reading….an “Insiders View” from a pitcrew member, on Drag Racing with Smax Smith. Trikewise, there’s a CX500 and a feature on the Ace Caff. There’s just not room to write about everything in this issue.

CENTRESPREAD: “Hairblut”, Horst from Germany’s radical NSU single chop. OK, NSU bottom end with a Harley Shovelhead front cylinder grafted on it!
