THE MAGAZINE FOR SERIOUS PETROLHEADS

Thanks for dropping in to the BRIT CHOPPER website. Never heard of us? We are a magazine aimed at serious home builders, started by three “builders of strange things”, Phixer, PantherShaun and Desperate, a few years ago, and the first issue hit the streets in late 2007. Building trikes, chops and rods was kids stuff compared to starting a publication, but somehow we muddled through and managed to get the first issue out. Some sceptics reckoned we wouldn’t reach issue two, but we’re now on issue twenty one and getting quite good at this journalist lark.

So what will you find inside the 64 full colour A4 pages? Basically, anything with an engine in it, and as Petrolheads like everything that goes “Suck Squeeze Bang Blow” the contents include bikes, trikes, hotrods, dragsters and even in one issue, a day out on a traction engine. There have been bikes with car engines in, conventional chops, cars with tank engines in, fuel-burning dragsters, V8 trikes and even a bicycle (chopped and belt-driven).
